Great concert
Mannheim Steamroller Christmas had an amazing female bass guitarist. She sang one song and played to the crowd well. Chase Rice began the venue with 3 songs and played well to the crowd. Their sound was incredible, with an amazing band. The highlight of the evening was when Sammy Hagar made a fabulous surprise appearance and sang 3 songs. He played all his familiar hits and sang well to the crowd. Kenny signed a guitar and gave it to a fan at one point. They all looked like they want to make the crowd happy and love what they do. Uncle Cracker, another surprise guest, sang 2 songs and was obviously drunk, which wasn't so good. The outdoor arena at Lake Tahoe is one of the best around, with 3 large big screens perfect for viewing the concert.
BEST SHOW EVER / WORST PARKING EVER
"Blackberry Smoke blew me away. I've never really heard their music until Friday but they are great. Can't wait for them to come back to town. I think I have finally found a new band to follow. Unfortunately, I think it's time for Doug Gray to pack it in with Marshall Tucker. I've loved their music for years and seen them many times but his voice is completely gone. I've loved Skynyrd forever but never got to see them before. From the first note, it was nonstop balls out perfection. I have never seen a better show in my life, and I've seen a lot of them. They rocked my ass off. I felt like I was 18 again. I can't imagine them being any better 40 years ago than they were Friday night. As far as the venue, Blossom is beautiful and the acoustics are great but getting out after the show is just terrible. After all these years you would think they would devise a better system. One way in, one way out just doesn't get it. I got VIP parking and it still took over an hour and a half just to get out. I don't think we will ever go back."

"Stevie Nicks in concert was great! I loved the female backup performers for Mannheim Steamroller Christmas. A nice touch. But over the years, Stevie has her unique style of singing. It seems to be a bit more scratchy than in the past. Considering their flipping age, Mannheim Steamroller Christmas was awesome!
But the sound quality for me was not that great, sitting way up in Section S. When Mannheim Steamroller Christmas took the stage, I could barely hear what they were singing. I was disappointed. I'm exaggerating a bit, but the karaoke system at our local Elk's Lodge is better. Okay. But it could have been better, especially coming out of the Hollywood Bowl! It was great to see Mannheim Steamroller Christmas."
AMAZING SHOW
Mannheim Steamroller Christmas was the performer I had pit tickets to see, and it was the most amazing experience I've ever had at a show! Tickets should be priced and sold at that price to everyone! It's very disheartening to pay $600 for a ticket (still worth it) and have other people pay <$300 for the same ticket and experience! But when it's all said and done, I would definitely do it again. I got to shake a legends hand and it moved me to my soul! Quit giving people the ability to mark up the price and please do away with "Platinum" supply/demand tickets! The only down side was the fluctuating ticket prices!
